Turkey’s prestigious online art gallery Artcrowdistanbul continues the art season with
 
“Miksaj”
 
A solo exhibiton by Yiğit Yazıcı
 
Opening on November 22nd and on view online for two months, the exhibition is accompanied by the VR experience of Yiğit Yazıcı’s studio.
 
The exhibition Miksaj, which refers to presenting related but very different works together, brings together the defining works of different periods and the current works of Yiğit Yazıcı, who aims to show what can turn into what and to explore the infinity of forms in our subconscious.

The exhibition titled "Miksaj" can be viewed online at Artcrowdistanbul Online Gallery and physically at the artist’s studio at 42Maslak. In parallel to the exhibition, there is also the opportunity to experience the artist’s works in VR in the studio environment. Tria Project, which created the VR experience, states that: "With the virtual workshop screening/experience in Metaverse designed for Yiğit Yazıcı, an artist who has an important place among our contemporary artists and added digital tools to his palette long before web3, we will welcome with our guests by the real-life applications of the popular concepts of "metaverse" and web3, as well as  their impact on art and what they can mean for future generations."
About the Exhibition
Gallery founder and director Şanel Şan Sevinç states that: "It is always very exciting for us to include solo exhibitions of master artists in our Artcrowdistanbul project, which we set out in 2018 with the goals of bringing art to the masses in a democratic way, melting borders and introducing Turkish artists to the world. We are very happy to present the exhibition of Yiğit Yazıcı, an artist who always updates himself, is dynamic and keeps his art open to sharing, to the audience in 3 different versions."
 
 
Yiğit Yazıcı, who is exhibiting a solo exhibition for the first time after many years, writes about the exhibition: "There is an abstract instinct behind every emotion and every dream that seems unreachable and surprising. What excites us with the desire to be in someone else’s shoes is the desire not to die or to live life meaningfully before death. Our desires and our desperate struggles and the result is always the same. No matter which period of my life I think about, there is something I have produced using my hands. Mine is a life spent in the company of color and form. Years in which I mixed colors and forms and being happy about it. If one of the purposes of life is to be happy, this happens for me in the nobility of nature. Miksaj means presenting related but very different works together. It aims to explore what can become what and the infinity of forms in our subconscious."
